Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Senior Associate - HRBP in Bangalore to partner with business leaders, drive HR strategies, and support workforce planning, talent reviews, and organizational development. The role focuses on talent management, employee engagement, and performance management.

You will be an advisor on employee relations, policy interpretation, and people-related matters while collaborating with Talent Acquisition, L&D, Total Rewards, and other HR teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR Business Partnering in global IT/tech services.
• MBA or Master’s in HR.
• Strong HR processes, employee relations, and performance management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

About The Role

Job Title: Senior Associate - HRBP

Location: Bangalore

What You'll Do

• Partner with business leaders and managers to execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Support workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives across assigned business units.
• Act as a trusted HR advisor by providing guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, performance concerns, and people-related matters.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives by understanding employee sentiment, identifying improvement opportunities, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with managers to identify capability gaps, training needs, and development opportunities for employees.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and other HR teams to deliver seamless people solutions.
• Support the performance management cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback discussions, and development planning.
• Analyze HR metrics and people data to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend actions to improve business outcomes.
• Lead and contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives across areas such as employee lifecycle, engagement, performance management, and HR operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment practices, and applicable labor regulations while maintaining a high standard of employee experience.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering role, preferably in a global IT or technology services environment.
• MBA or Master's degree with specialization in Human Resources.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employee relations, performance management, talent management, and employee engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and translate data into actionable insights.Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and business leaders.
• High level of ownership, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Experience working with HRIS tools and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint is preferred.
