Job summary

Talentfleet Solutions Pvt Ltd is hiring for an AP Accountant role in Bengaluru to manage complex accounts payable processes, vendor reconciliations, and month-end closings. You will ensure accuracy, drive process improvements, and support escalation handling for overseas stakeholders.

The role requires strong Excel skills, AP domain knowledge, and experience with SAP S/4HANA. Prior exposure to US accounts payable is advantageous.

• Assist Team Leaders in workload allocation and daily process management.

Job Description

• Handle complex AP transactions and exception management.
  
• Review and approve transactions within delegated authority.
  
• Perform detailed vendor account and statement reconciliations.
  
• Resolve invoice, PO, payment and vendor master discrepancies.
  
• Manage escalated vendor and client queries.
  
• Support payment processing and payment-run controls.
  
• Monitor AP aging and drive resolution of overdue items.
  
• Perform quality checks on transactions processed by Associates.
  
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
  
• Prepare AP MIS and operational reports.
  
• Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations.
  
• Ensure compliance with client SOPs, controls and SLA requirements.
  
• Assist Team Leaders in workload allocation and daily process management.
  
• Train and mentor Junior Associates and Associates.
  

Requirements

Skills - Must Have

• Strong AP process knowledge.
  
• Good understanding of accounting and month-end activities.
  
• Advanced Excel skills.
  
• Strong reconciliation and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to identify process and control improvements.
  
• US AP knowledge would be an added advantage.
