Job summary

Macquarie Group in India is looking for a finance professional to deliver IFRS-based accounting and reporting, focusing on monthly balance sheet and P&L analysis, month-end close, and regulatory submissions. You will translate commercial transactions into appropriate accounting treatments and collaborate across regions.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate accounting qualification CA (May 2026).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS reporting for banking industry.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for monthly balance sheet and P&L analysis, month end close, financial, regulatory and tax reporting submissions. Using your expertise in IFRS based financial reporting and the ability to translate commercial business transactions to the correct accounting treatment, you’ll also report for new transactions, deals, products, entities, acquisitions or restructures.
