Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a Senior Associate - GT Regulatory Reporting to join the Group Finance team. You will run the capital and credit risk reporting processes, generate exposures for risk-weighted assets, and prepare regulatory returns including Pillar 3 disclosures.

You will design and operate controls over reporting activities, support internal and external audits, and respond to regulator queries while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate, timely

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Run capital/credit risk reporting processes and generate exposures for credit risk, RWA, leverage, and related regulatory returns.
  • Create and operate controls over reporting processes in line with Macquarie's control framework.
  • Respond to internal/external audit queries and regulator requests; support ad hoc inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely disclosures.

Senior Associate - GT Regulatory Reporting

In this role, you will be responsible to run the capital/credit risk process to generate exposures for credit risk, Related Party exposures, Risk weighted assets, Leverage ratio, large exposures, regulatory Returns, Pillar 3 disclosures based on the guidance issued by regulators and performing UATs for all regulatory & system driven changes. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in creating & running the controls over the reporting processes and ensuring that control design is in line with Macquarie’s control framework and complies with all requirements. You will also contribute in responding to internal and external audit queries and ad hoc requests and queries from the regulators.

  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements / developments, fundamental of accounting and consolidation. Previous experience in a Regulatory Reporting role is added advantage.
  • Knowledge on financial instruments and products offered by investment banks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment
  • Good analytical ability. Ability to work under pressure, report to tight deadlines and deal effectively with issues.
