Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team seeks an Accounts Payable professional in Bengaluru to manage vendor invoices, validate entries in the accounting system, and support payment approvals. The role includes reconciling vendor balances and assisting with year-end procedures.

You will handle cash application, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities, ensuring accurate postings and timely payments while supporting internal controls and audits.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable invoice processing and vendor master data updates.
• Support AP payment runs and month-end closing activities.
• Validate invoices in accounting system and submit for approval; handle check payment requests.
• Cash application, daily bank reconciliation, and month-end cash close; follow up on unapplied receipts.

Description

• 1. Accounts Payable invoice processing, Vendor Management and updating the banking details in the vendor master records, To support for AP Invoice payment run, To handle month end close procedure. Employee expense validations. Validating the invoices in the accounting system and submitting for the payment approval. To handle check payment request.
• 2. Cash Application and daily bank reconciliation. To handle cash month end close procedure. Follow up on the unapplied receipts and payment in the bank statement. Applying the payments against the Accounts Payable invoices and applying the receipts to the Accounts Receivable invoices.
• 3. Supporting the yearend statutory audit.
• 4. To reconcile vendor balance and resolving the unreconciled transactions.
