Job summary

Qualifications

  • Maintain EHS logs and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS procedures and policies.
  • Oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area for regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct EHS meetings and training.
  • Manage QEHS documentation, execution, and monitoring.
  • Apply for and follow up on legal clearances.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Maintain relevant EHS logs and documentation.
  • Comply with all Company and EHS procedures and policies.
  • Ability to oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance i.e. labelling, containment, proper disposal, documentation, etc.
  • Conduct daily and monthly EHS meetings/training and schedule as needed.
  • QEHS documentation, execution and monitoring.
  • Apply, follow up to get approval from CPCB and SPBC (CTE, CTO), fire NOC, and other all legal clearance.
Key result areas
  1. On-time completion of EHS tasks of plant.
  2. Proper documentation of environmental and safety data on day-to-day basis.
Competency profile
  1. Understanding of Environmental norms and all legal compliance of state and central pollution control board.
  2. Understanding of Industrial safety procedures with hand-on experience is a plus.
  3. Knowledge/exposure to QEHS systems (ISO 9001, 14000, 45000) as advantage.
  4. Planning and time management.
  5. Cross functional team management.
  6. Proper documentation, data analysis, and familiar to MS-office.
