Job summary

Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited seeks to reinforce its EHS operations by focusing on compliance with EC, CTO, CTE, and all applicable environmental regulations. The role leads the ETP, STP, MEE, ATFD, Incinerator, RO, and related pollution control systems, while coordinating with regulatory authorities for inspections and submissions.

The incumbent will drive water and energy conservation, waste minimization, and sustainability initiatives, and will lead PSM activities such as HAZOP, JSA, and MOC

Qualifications

• Ensures compliance with Environmental Clearance (EC), CTO, CTE, Hazardous Waste Rules, and other environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and performance improvement of ETP, STP, MEE, ATFD, Incinerator, RO, and other pollution control systems.
• Monitor air emissions, wastewater discharge, hazardous waste disposal, and environmental performance.
• Drive water and energy conservation, waste minimization, and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate with statutory authorities (GPCB, CPCB, MoEF&CC) for inspections, renewals, and submissions.
• Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives including HAZOP, HIRA, JSA, LOPA, MOC, and PSSR.
• Establish and supervise Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, Work at Height, and Hot Work systems.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Responsible Care, and corporate EHS standards.
• Maintain statutory records, licenses, permits, and EHS documentation.
• Present EHS performance reports to senior management.

• Monitor air emissions, wastewater discharge, hazardous waste disposal, and environmental performance.
• Drive water conservation, energy conservation, waste minimization, and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate with GPCB, CPCB, MoEF&CC, and other statutory authorities for inspections, renewals, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Occupational Safety regulations, and applicable state and central legislation.
• Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives including HAZOP, HIRA, JSA, LOPA, MOC, and PSSR.
• Establish effective Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, Work at Height, and Hot Work systems.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Responsible Care, and corporate EHS standards.
• Manage statutory inspections and regulatory audits.
• Maintain all statutory records, registers, licenses, permits, and EHS documentation.
• Present EHS performance and compliance reports to senior management.
