Job summary

DBS in Hyderabad is seeking a senior front-end engineer to architect and develop high-performance interfaces using React 18.x and Next.js 14.x/15.x. You will enforce clean coding standards with TypeScript and lead comprehensive testing strategies including Vitest and Playwright.

You will collaborate across teams, optimize performance with Web Vitals and observability tools, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years hands-on experience with React.js and modern front-end tech.
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-performance, maintainable user interfaces using React 18.x and Next.js 14.x/15.x
• Enforce clean code standards with TypeScript 5.x; maintain quality with ESLint, Prettier, SonarQube
• Lead testing strategies including unit, integration, and E2E testing (Vitest, Playwright)
• Monitor and optimize app performance with Web Vitals, Open Telemetry, and Sentry
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Manage deployment pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infra (Vercel/AWS/Azure)
• Work with React features (Server Components, App Router) and state management (Zustand, Redux Toolkit)
• Utilize UI libraries like Shadcn/ui or MUI; style with Tailwind CSS; test with Vitest/Jest
• Establish CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and observability tools
• Deploy via Docker/Kubernetes; monitor with Sentry and Open Telemetry

• Core Frameworks: React 18.x (utilizing Concurrent Features & Server Components), Next.js 14.x/15.x (App Router, Server Actions, RSC)
• State Management: Proficiency in Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or Jotai; React Query (TanStack Query) for server state; Context API for component-level state
• UI & Styling: Tailwind CSS 3.x, CSS Modules/Styled Components; experience with Shadcn/ui or Material-UI (MUI)
• Build & Performance: Vite/Webpack 5+, Turbopack, and SWC/esbuild for fast transpiration
• Testing & Quality: Vitest/Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress for E2E testing; Storybook for component isolation
• Code Quality & DevOps: ESLint 9.x, Prettier, Husky, lint-staged, and SonarQube. Git (GitHub/GitLab), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)
• Infrastructure & Observability: Deployment via Docker, Kubernetes, Vercel, or AWS/Azure. Monitoring via Sentry, Log Rocket, Open Telemetry, and Web Vitals tracking.

Contributions to open-source React projects, published npm packages or component libraries, Mobile development with React Native

Requirements:
