Job summary

DBS Hyderabad seeks an experienced Atlassian & CI/CD Platform Administrator to manage enterprise DevSecOps platforms including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, ScriptRunner, and Jenkins. You will handle platform administration, automation development, integration engineering, and security compliance.

You will develop Groovy scripts, manage pipelines, and ensure high availability, performance, and scale across the Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket stack, while supporting Jenkins operations and CVE

Qualifications

• Experience administering Atlassian Data Center applications (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Groovy, Shell).
• Hands-on Jenkins administration and CI/CD platform experience.
• Knowledge of security controls, RBAC, and CVE remediation in enterprise platforms.

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Atlassian & CI/CD Platform Administrator to manage, enhance, and support enterprise DevSecOps platforms including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, ScriptRunner, and Open Source Jenkins. The role involves platform administration, automation development, integration engineering, performance tuning, security compliance, upgrade management, and custom solution development using Python, Shell Scripting, and Java.

Key Responsibilities

Atlassian Platform Administration Administer and support Atlassian Data Center applications: Jira Confluence Bitbucket Manage projects, workflows, schemes, permissions, spaces, repositories, and user access. Configure and maintain high availability, performance, and scalability. Perform platform upgrades, migrations, patching, and CVE remediation. Manage integrations with enterprise tools and SDLC platforms. Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and database-related issues. Implement security controls and governance policies.

ScriptRunner SME Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ScriptRunner across: Jira Confluence Bitbucket Develop and maintain: Groovy scripts Workflow validators Post-functions Event listeners REST endpoints Scheduled jobs Custom automation solutions Optimize business processes through automation. Support enterprise-wide ScriptRunner implementations and best practices. Review and govern custom scripts for performance and security.

Jenkins Administration Administer and support Open Source Jenkins platforms. Configure: Controllers/Masters Agents/Nodes Pipelines Shared Libraries Credentials Management Perform Jenkins upgrades and plugin lifecycle management. Troubleshoot build, deployment, and pipeline failures. Implement CI/CD best practices. Improve platform reliability, scalability, and security.

Automation & Scripting Develop automation solutions using: Shell Scripting (Linux/Unix) Python Groovy (ScriptRunner) Automate: User onboarding/offboarding Access reviews Health checks Backup validation Compliance reporting Platform maintenance activities Create reusable automation frameworks.

Java Development Develop and maintain Java-based plugins, extensions, and integrations. Build REST APIs and custom services supporting Atlassian and CI/CD platforms. Analyze application logs and troubleshoot Java-related issues. Perform code reviews and quality improvements.

Platform Security & Compliance Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards. Remediate security vulnerabilities and CVEs. Implement: Audit logging Secret scanning Access controls Security guardrails Support audit, risk, and regulatory reviews. Maintain platform hardening standards.

Integration & DevOps Integrate Atlassian tools with: Jenkins SonarQube JFrog Git repositories Enterprise authentication systems ITSM platforms Design and implement CI/CD automation workflows. Enable end-to-end SDLC traceability.

Platform Monitoring & Support Monitor platform health and performance. Perform root cause analysis for incidents. Support production issues and critical outages. Create operational runbooks and SOPs. Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise platforms.
