Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations.
• Handle invoice processing, GRN validation and vendor payments.
• Perform invoice verification and ensure accurate PO, GRN and invoice matching.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
• Manage vendor reconciliations and resolve aged outstanding items and payment-related issues.
• Support month-end closing, AP reconciliations and management reporting.
• Review high-value transactions, exceptions and payment proposals as per approval guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to AP controls, accounting policies and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Business Finance, Taxation and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Support Internal, Statutory, GST and Process Audits.
• Drive process improvements, automation and control enhancements.
• Monitor and maintain SLA, productivity, quality and accuracy targets, while supporting team coordination and performance.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Executive - Accounts Payable (AP) with strong expertise in end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations, SAP, GST, TDS, vendor management and AP controls.

The role involves managing day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining process accuracy, supporting audits and driving productivity, quality and continuous process improvements.

• Strong expertise in Accounts Payable and P2P processes
• Hands-on experience in SAP ERP - Accounts Payable
• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance
• Vendor reconciliation, payment processing and invoice validation
• Strong understanding of AP governance, internal controls and audit requirements
• Experience in high-volume invoice processing and SLA management
• Effective stakeholder coordination and vendor management
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in Shared Services, GCC, BPO or corporate finance environments preferred

Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.

• 3-8 years of relevant Accounts Payable / P2P experience.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, vendor reconciliations and payment operations.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP AP transactions.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Experience in managing high-volume AP transactions with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit requirements and process compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Immediate joiner or short notice candidate preferred.
