Job summary

Ramky Sustainability Solutions Hyderabad is seeking aVehicle Fleet Manager to oversee management of fleets used for transport and collection activities. The role focuses on maintaining high fleet availability, coordinating workshops and ensuring compliance with insurance, permits and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring day-to-day expenses, enforcing preventive maintenance, and standardizing norms for fuel and maintenance costs across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle fleet management for waste collection operations.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts layout and service.
• Ability to lead teams, plan work and organize resources.

• Meet targets for fleet availability to maximize waste collection and smooth operations.
• Identify and approve workshop facilities site-wise or within contract scope.
• Coordinate insurance, fitness, permits and other statutory compliances; process claims.
• Monitor day-to-day fleet expenses site-wise and project-wise, including fuel.
• Perform periodical preventive maintenance for vehicles.
• Formulate norms for operational expenses (fuel, labor, maintenance) per project.

Objective: Responsible for Vehicle management for Transport & collection activities.

Key Accountability

• Meet targets for Fleet availability to maximize Waste Collection & smooth operations.

• Identify and approve the workshop facilities site-wise – or establish them within the scope of the contract.
• Coordinate insurance, fitness, permit, and other statutory compliances. Process insurance claims.
• Monitor expenses site-wise of day-to-day Fleet operations, project- wise, including fuel.
• Periodical preventive maintenance for vehicles.
• Formulate and standardize norms for operational expenses – fuel consumption, labor vehicle, maintenance, etc. for each project.
