Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience as Area Sales Manager or Senior Area Sales Manager
• Experience in plywood industry is a plus
• Strong dealer and distributor network across Jharkhand
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel within territory
• Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory
• Develop and strengthen dealer, distributor, and retailer network across Jharkhand
• Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion
• Build relationships with dealers, architects, contractors, builders, and institutional customers
• Lead territory development to increase market share and brand visibility
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends
• Ensure timely collections and maintain receivables
• Conduct dealer meets, carpenter meets, promotions, product demonstrations
• Mentor and support junior sales team members
• Coordinate with marketing/head office for sales initiatives
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business reviews

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in theBuilding Materials industry, with a strong track record of driving sales growth, expanding channel networks, and managing key customer relationships. Candidates with experience in thePlywood industrywill be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  
• Develop and strengthen the dealer, distributor, and retailer network across Jharkhand.
  
• Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion.
  
• Build strong relationships with dealers, architects, contractors, builders, and institutional customers.
  
• Lead territory development initiatives to increase market share and brand visibility.
  
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
  
• Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables.
  
• Conduct dealer meets, carpenter meets, promotional campaigns, and product demonstrations.
  
• Mentor and support junior sales team members to improve performance.
  
• Coordinate with the marketing and head office teams to execute sales and promotional initiatives.
  
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business performance reviews.
  

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience:8–12 years in theBuilding Materials industry.
  
• Minimum2–3 years experience as an Area Sales Manager or Senior Area Sales Managerpreferred.
  
• Experience in thePlywood industrywill be an added advantage.
  
• Strong dealer and distributor network across Jharkhand.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting.
