Job summary

Trehan IRIS in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh seeks a seasoned Architect to lead design for luxury residential and commercial developments, ensuring vision alignment with municipal regulations and sustainability.

You will develop plans, elevations, working drawings, and real-time 3D renderings while coordinating with MEP, structure, landscape teams and contractors to deliver projects on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture is required.

About the Role:

An Architect will design the luxury residential / commercial projects, ensuring Trehan Iris vision, compliance with municipal regulations and sustainability standards. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and modifying plans, prepare detailed drawings, and develop innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development

• Engage with management to understand their vision and requirements, translating them into feasible designs.
• Prepare and deliver presentations/proposals to stakeholders and management on design ideation.
• Conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions in line with the companys vision and market trends.
• Design residential and commercial projects as per prevailing municipal regulations.
• Make plans and elevations for the projects, and prepare and modify plans.
• Prepare working drawings and sales drawings during the construction stage.
• Implement energy-efficient and eco-friendly design principles, ensuring compliance with green building standards.
• Optimize designs for functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
• Develop innovative and functional architectural designs for high-rise residential and commercial projects.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural tools for design development.
• Develop photo-realistic 3D renderings for management approvals, land use area statements and area calculations.

Planning and Coordination

• Closely work with Liasoning team to provide technical clarifications to concerned authorities like fire department , forest clearance, flight clearance etc. and ensure building plans and all relevant building services qualify for all building norms to get necessary approvals.
• Collaborate with MEP, structural engineers, structure consultants, landscape architects, and contractors for project execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to bring designs to life.
• Closely work with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the design meets the needs of the project and is feasible within the budget and timeline.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless project execution, fostering a culture of creativity and technical excellence.
• During construction phase, work closely with contractors and engineers to ensure that the construction meets the design specifications and that any issues that arise during construction are addressed promptly.
• Liaise with Project execution team to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner and that project requirements are met.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and environmental sustainability standards by coordinating with relevant teams. Ensure compliance with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and safety codes.
• Maintain design quality and consistency across all projects while optimizing cost efficiency and construction feasibility.
• Conduct periodic design audits, feasibility studies, and value engineering to enhance project outcomes and mitigate potential design risks.
• Conduct site visits to oversee project progress and resolve design-related challenges.
• Review drawings, specifications, and design changes during all phases of the project.
• Verify structural, MEP, landscape, and municipal drawings against architectural plans.

Financial Management

• Work with procurement and finance teams to manage project costs, optimize design-related expenses, and ensure cost-effective yet high-quality design execution.
• Prepare billing estimations and manage project costs to stay within budget.
• Oversee contractor tender management, ensuring bids are aligned with the project scope.
• Conduct thorough checks of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender drawings, and General/Floor Coordination Good for Construction (GFC) drawings.
• Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for contractors and vendors.
• Generate detailed project reports, including design specifications, materials, costs, and construction timelines.
• Provide guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers, and electricians, helping them interpret design specifications.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture.
• 15 to 20 years of experience in architectural design and project execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other architectural design software / design tools
• Strong creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction techniques
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and material selection.
