LANXESS is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, build and maintain advanced RICEFW objects for SAP S/4HANA with emphasis on performance and best practices. You will work on CDS views, OData services, and SAP UI5 deployments while following ChaRM processes.

You will collaborate with SAP Basis, SAP Authorization, and other streams to ensure timely delivery and provide 2nd/3rd level production support. 7+ years of experience and strong English are required.

Competenze

• Graduate with experience in SAP ABAP technical development and proficiency in English.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in SAP ABAP/ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP, UI5, OData and CDS views.

Mansioni

• Design, build and maintain ABAP+CDS objects focusing on SAP S/4HANA.
• Optimize data models for performance and SAP HANA best practices.
• Follow Change and Release Management (ChaRM) procedures.
• Implement and deploy SAP UI5 apps with custom extension development.
• Identify performance bottlenecks via SQL tracing and code optimization.
• Participate in unit, integration and UAT testing.
• Coordinate with SAP and partners to resolve technical issues (OSS incidents).
• Collaborate with SAP Basis, SAP Authorization and other streams to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support and RCA to prevent recurrence.

Job Description:

Job Highlights

• Design, Build and maintain advanced RICEFW objects using ABAP, CDS views, and OData services with focus on SAP S/4 HANA and aligned with SAP best practices
• Optimize data models for performance and ensure compliance with SAP HANA best practices
• Follow the ChaRM (Change and Release Management process) of LANXESS to ensure development, transport and changes adhere to company guidelines
• Implement and deploy SAP UI5 applications, including custom extension development and configuration for user roles, catalogs, and groups
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through SQL trace, runtime analysis, code optimization and other performance enhancing measures
• Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Where required communicate with SAP and partners to resolve technical issues (like raising and resolving OSS incidents)
• Collaborate with other IT teams such as SAP Basis, SAP Authorization, SAP Functional Streams, etc. to ensure timely deliverables of development objects
• Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for critical production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure the relevant development issues do not re-occur

Experience / Skills

• Specific Education - Graduate with experience in SAP ABAP Technical Development and proficiency in English language
• Work Experience - relevant experience of 7+ years
• Special Skills - SAP BTP (WebIDE, BAS, SAP Build) , Strong Classical ABAP expertise , SAP Gateway/OData development knowledge
