LANXESS India is seeking a senior finance professional to lead end-to-end Record-to-Report operations, ensuring timely month-end closings and strong internal controls. You will manage GL, journals, accruals, fixed assets, and lease accounting, while partnering with global and regional stakeholders.

You will build a high-performing R2R team, drive process excellence, automation, and compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, and local GAAP, delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis.

Qualifications

• CA or Inter CA or M.Com with strong IFRS/Ind AS knowledge.
• 10+ years in R2R/finance with team leadership.
• Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.
• Experience with internal controls and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end R2R operations including GL, journals, accruals, provisions, fixed assets and lease accounting.
• Ensure timely, accurate month/quarter/year-end closings and accounting accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, Local GAAP and statutory requirements.

Job Highlights

This position is responsible for leading end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for all entities within the scope of SDC India, ensuring accurate and timely financial month-end close, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to internal controls. The role includes leading a team of finance professionals, driving process excellence, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting continuous improvement and automation initiatives to deliver high-quality finance services.

1. Lead R2R Operations

• Manage end-to-end R2R activities including GL, journals, accruals, provisions, fixed assets and lease accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/year-end closing.
• Ensure accounting accuracy and compliance with company policies.

2. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, Local GAAP and statutory requirements.
• Maintain internal controls and support internal, external and statutory audits.

3. Reporting & Analysis

• Review financial statements, reconciliations, GL reporting and account analysis.
• Identify variances, unusual transactions and aging items and ensure timely resolution.

4. Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the R2R team through effective workload management, performance tracking and capability building.
• Drive accountability, collaboration and succession planning.

5. Process Excellence & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with global, regional and local stakeholders for effective service delivery.
• Drive standardization, automation, digitalization and continuous improvement.
• Identify operational risks and implement best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
