Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH in Thane, Maharashtra, India seeks an experienced logistics professional to maintain SAP master data, manage freight rates, and optimize routing structures across SAP systems. • 2-5 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation planning, or SAP master data support.

Responsibilities

• Execute Freight Rate Maintenance activities across different transportation modes and regions, including validation and update of transportation rates and surcharges in SAP TM
• Perform SD Route Maintenance and PPDS Transportation Lanes activities to ensure correct transportation routing logic for customer deliveries and stock transfer orders
• Contributes to process harmonization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement activities within the global transportation management environment
• Support SAP transportation master data activities, including validation, correction, monitoring, and issue resolution
• Coordinate with Global Logistics, IT teams, business units, and regional stakeholders regarding routing changes, transport logic, and operational impacts
• Support process documentation, data analysis, reporting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

Experience / Skills

• Special Skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Experience in transportation or supply chain processes preferred
