Lanxess India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned production leader to drive operations in a specialty chemical plant. You will oversee planning, asset utilization, and resources to meet production targets with strict quality standards.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, people management, and cost discipline, with exposure to ISO and GMP frameworks. The position offers a stable, full-time career within a global chemicals group.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Chemical, Production or Industrial engineering
• 15+ years of experience in production roles
• Experience in handling production in a specialty chemical plant (continuous/batch)
• Strong safety background and people management focus
• Exposure to ISO, GMP and related standards

Responsibilities

• Achieve production plan per sales target with quality.
• Maximize asset utilization (OEE) of production plants and resources.
• Manage materials, utilities and manpower for smooth plant operation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet production targets.
• Plan shutdowns synchronously across plant units.
• Drive productivity and efficiency improvements across all plant sections.
• Prepare monthly MIS including capacity utilization, losses and rejects.
• Train shop floor staff and promote performance culture.

• To achieve production plan as per sales target with quality.
• Ensuring and maximizing asset utilization of production plants and resources (OEE).
• Resources management for smooth running of the plant efficiently like raw material, utility, manpower etc.
• Co-ordination with all stakeholders for smooth achievement of production plans.
• Shut down synchronized planning of different plants
• Productivity & efficiency improvement in all sections of the plants.
• Monthly MIS viz capacity utilization , summary of production losses , reject material monitoring of all products .
• Training the direct associates & shop floor subordinates in upgrading their skills.Promoting the performance cultural values.
• Planning of emergency /crises management.
• Ensuring HSE practices , ISO 9000, ISO 14000, HACCP, GMP and X-act implementation in plant.Represent the above plants as auditee in various audits.

• Experience of handling / managing Production in a speciality chemical plant of continuous / batch nature
