LANXESS India, a leading specialty chemicals group, seeks a senior R2R leader to oversee end-to-end Record-to-Report for all entities in scope. You will drive accurate monthly closes, ensure IFRS/Ind AS compliance and strong internal controls, and lead a team of finance professionals delivering high-quality services.

You will partner with global and local stakeholders to standardize processes, pursue automation and continuous improvement, and strengthen financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications

• CA / Inter CA or? M Com required.
• 10+ years of work experience in R2R/finance
• IFRS & LKA expertise; solid accounting knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end R2R operations for all entities.
• Oversee GL, journals, accruals, provisions, fixed assets and lease accounting.

Job Highlights

This position is responsible for leading end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for all entities within the scope of SDC India, ensuring accurate and timely financial month-end close, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to internal controls. The role includes leading a team of finance professionals, driving process excellence, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting continuous improvement and automation initiatives to deliver high-quality finance services.

• Lead R2R Operations
• Manage end-to-end R2R activities including GL, journals, accruals, provisions, fixed assets and lease accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/year-end closing.
• Ensure accounting accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Compliance & Controls
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, Local GAAP and statutory requirements.
• Maintain internal controls and support internal, external and statutory audits.

• Review financial statements, reconciliations, GL reporting and account analysis.
• Identify variances, unusual transactions and aging items and ensure timely resolution.
• Lead and develop the R2R team through effective workload management, performance tracking and capability building.
• Drive accountability, collaboration and succession planning.
• Process Excellence & Stakeholder Management
• Partner with global, regional and local stakeholders for effective service delivery.
• Drive standardization, automation, digitalization and continuous improvement.
• Identify operational risks and implement best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
