Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH in Thane invites applications for an SAP PPDS specialist to support the S/4HANA environment and PPDS operations. You will drive incident, change, and problem management while coordinating with business stakeholders across regions to optimise planning and capacity.

You will lead workshops, document requirements, and support global PPDS projects. Strong English skills and willingness for travel complete the profile.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years' experience supporting SAP PPDS in SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong PPDS knowledge with integration to PP/QM/MM/SD/SRM/EWM.
• Experience with CIF and troubleshooting.
• Incident and ChaRM process experience.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and service providers.
• IBP integration experience preferred.
• Domain experience in chemical industry preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Independent work with minimal supervision.

Job Highlights

• Actively contributing to daily support with focus on SAP PP/DS module in S/4 HANA including Incident management, Change management and Problem management and continuous improvement activities
• Key work areas PPDS processes and related master data & customization.
• Planning and execution of national and international projects in the context of SAP PP/DS module in S/4 HANA
• Elaboration of functional and technical feasibility studies regarding new concepts and continuous optimization of existing applications in close cooperation with business stakeholders
• Preparation, execution and results documentation of national and international workshops (requirements analysis, delta assessments, trainings etc.)
• Customizing according to design specifications in the area of production planning and capacity levelling under consideration of process-related integration with PP, QM, MM etc.
• Coordination of customer specific developments, including requirements gathering, specification, build, test and handover to operations
• Steering and coordination of external service providers with regard to task prioritization, resolving of incidents and implementation of changes, including monitoring of service improvement
• Support in PPDS integration topic with PP,QM, SD,MM,SRM,EWM etc

Experience / Skills

• 1 to 5 years of experience in supporting SAP PPDS module, ideally gained in external an/or in-house SAP Consulting, preferably with good insight in S4 HANA
• Proficiency in PPDS in combination with good integration knowhow to related process areas like PP,QM,MM,SD,TM,SRM,EWM etc
• PPDS processes, related master data management, planning heuristics, scheduling, capacity planning and integration monitoring
• CIF (Core Interface) and troubleshooting expertise in this area
• Solid understanding and practical experience in incident and ChaRM process
• Good experience in supporting globally integrated processes and coordinating with business stakeholders and service providers.
• Preferably, should have good knowledge of integration with IBP
• Preferably, at least 1 year domain experience in planning in Chemical or any other industry .Must have good knowledge in standard PPDS business processes.
• Strong abilities in thinking in processes
• Intercultural communication abilities, service orientation and assertiveness
• Presentation and problem solving skills
• Willingness for occasional business travels as part of reginal and global S4 Hana implementation/rollout projects
• Very good spoken and written English skills
• Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Following points would be added advantage

• Experience of end to end implementation / roll-out for PPDS Module
• SAP certification in PPDS module
