Job summary

LANXESS in Jhagadia, India, seeks an entry-level production operator for the Lubricant Additives unit. You will execute production plans, monitor process parameters, and ensure batch traceability with strict safety and quality practices.

Required BE Chemical, 4–8 years in chemical industry, strong communication and teamwork, MS Office skills, and SAP knowledge is a plus. This onsite role offers growth in a leading global specialty chemicals group.

Qualifications

• B.E Chemical is required.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in chemical industry.
• Good communication skills and teamwork are essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute production as per production plan and monitor process parameters for unit operation and processes
• Maintain batch records and logbooks
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdown handling
• Supervise unloading of raw materials, control intermediate and finished product transfers
• Adhere PTW system
• Conduct toolbox talks and shift safety briefings
• Act as first responder during emergencies
• Ensure in-process checks and sample dispatch to QC
• Take corrective actions for off-spec results as per QC
• Prevent deviations and ensure batch traceability
