Job summary

Lanxess India Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for an entry-level to mid-level chemical production role stationed at Jhagadia.

The incumbent will execute the production plan, monitor process parameters, and ensure batch traceability while coordinating with maintenance and QC teams. The candidate should hold a BE in Chemical Engineering with 4–8 years of chemical industry experience, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and have proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute production as per the production plan and monitor process parameters for unit operations and processes
• Maintain batch records and logbooks
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdown handling
• Supervise unloading of raw materials and transfers of intermediates and finished products
• Adhere to Permit-to-Work (PTW) system
• Conduct toolbox talks and shift safety briefings
• Act as first responder during emergencies
• Ensure in-process checks and sample dispatch to QC
• Take corrective actions for off-spec results per QC instructions
• Prevent deviations and ensure batch traceability
