Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Management or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in industry engagement, business development, or stakeholder management with strong connections.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability in lead generation and partnership closures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and social media.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and apprenticeship frameworks.
  • Confident public speaker and effective representative of the organization.
  • Independent, proactive, and results-driven approach.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; regional languages an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies targeting industries and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential industry leads and partnership opportunities.
  • Build and manage partnerships with corporates, MSMEs, industry bodies, and Sector Skill Councils.
  • Create industry‑specific pitch materials and represent NSDC in meetings, forums, and events.
  • Collaborate with NSDC’s Media & Communications Team and the Ministry for advocacy and campaign rollouts.
  • Coordinate internally with NSDC departments and State Engagement Officers for effective program implementation.
  • Support the execution of apprenticeship schemes in partnership with State and Central Government agencies.
  • Conduct demonstrations of the Apprenticeship Portal and assist stakeholders with its functionalities.
  • Resolve industry and stakeholder grievances promptly.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by NSDC.

Job Description
