Job summary

LANXESS is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator to ensure availability and optimal operation of on‑premises and Azure server infrastructure. You will administer and monitor Windows Server and Azure environments, with emphasis on security, performance, and disaster recovery. Proficiency in OPManager and PRTG is essential.

Required: IT graduate with Azure and ITIL certifications; 5+ years' experience; Linux admin is a plus. Expect growth, global bonus program, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• IT graduate with Microsoft Azure certification and ITIL knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Azure environments.

Job Highlights

To ensure the availability, security, performance, and efficient operation of LANXESS’s on-premises and Azure server infrastructure. The role will be responsible for administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise Windows Server and Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring reliable IT services and operational excellence.

Key requirement Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, and ManageEngine OpManager for infrastructure monitoring. Linux administration experience is an added advantage.

Server Deployment and Configuration

• Provision and configure cloud servers according to organizational requirements and best practices.
• Ensure proper setup of server resources, including storage, networking, and security configurations.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization

• Monitor server performance, resource utilization, and scalability to ensure optimal operation.
• Monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Regularly test backup and recovery processes to confirm their effectiveness and reliability.

Global PRTG & OPManager Administration and Support

• Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Generate regular reports on server performance, security posture, and compliance status.
