Job summary

Acura Solutions in Mumbai requires a senior Accounts Payable professional with 10+ years of experience in end-to-end AP in the BFSI sector and exposure to Oracle Fusion ERP. The role covers full P2P lifecycle, GST/TDS compliance, MSME payments, and AP controls.

You will lead a team, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and drive process improvements and automation within the AP function.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in end-to-end Accounts Payable in BFSI sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function with timely, accurate vendor invoices and payments.
• Oversee the complete Purchase-to-Pay cycle including invoice validation, accounting, approvals, payment processing and vendor reconciliation.
• Manage vendor payments through banking platforms, including preparation, validation and execution of payment batches.
• Ensure timely compliance with TDS and GST requirements relating to vendor transactions.
• Review and monitor TDS deductions, TDS returns and related reconciliations.
• Perform and oversee GST ITC reconciliation, including reconciliation between books, purchase registers and GST data.
• Ensure compliance with MSME payment requirements, including identification of MSME vendors, ageing monitoring and timely payments.
• Prepare and review vendor payment MIS, ageing reports and other AP-related management reports.
• Monitor outstanding vendor balances and ensure timely resolution of long-pending items.
• Establish controls over vendor creation, invoice processing, approvals and payments.
• Coordinate with vendors, procurement, business teams, tax teams, treasury and other stakeholders for AP matters.
• Drive process improvements, automation and strengthening of AP controls.
• Review AP reconciliations and ensure timely closure of outstanding items.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Oversee the complete Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, including invoice validation, accounting, approvals, payment processing and vendor reconciliation.

• Ensure timely compliance with TDS and GST requirements relating to vendor transactions.

• Perform and oversee GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation, including reconciliation between books, purchase registers and GST data.
• Ensure compliance with MSME payment requirements, including identification of MSME vendors, ageing monitoring and timely payments.
• Prepare and review vendor payment MIS, ageing reports and other AP-related management reports.
• Monitor outstanding vendor balances and ensure timely resolution of long-pending items.
• Establish appropriate controls over vendor creation, invoice processing, approvals and payments.
• Coordinate with vendors, procurement, business teams, tax teams, treasury and other stakeholders for resolution of AP-related matters.
• Drive process improvements, automation and strengthening of AP controls.

• Support internal, statutory and regulatory audits by providing AP-related schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents.
