Job summary

Shanti Polymers in Gujarat is seeking an accounting professional to manage end-to-end financial records within a manufacturing setup at Sanand GIDC, Ahmedabad. You will handle invoicing, purchase orders, production entries, and inventory accounting using Tally Prime.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, timely documentation, and compliance with GST, TDS, and bank reconciliations. Prior experience with RM/FG inventory in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Understanding of end-to-end accounting processes.
• Experience with sales and purchase invoices, purchase orders, production entries, and inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of stock management and reconciliation in Tally.
• GST and TDS knowledge; bank reconciliation basics preferred.
• Manufacturing experience with RM and FG inventory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales invoices and purchase entries in Tally Prime.
• Record production entries and manage purchase orders for raw materials.
• Maintain stock and inventory records; ensure data accuracy.
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities and routine entries.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare sales invoices and purchase entries in Tally Prime.
• Record and manage production entries in Tally Prime.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials.
• Maintain and regularly update stock and inventory records in Tally.
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities with a focus on data accuracy and proper documentation.
• Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including routine accounting entries, reconciliations and documentation.
• Coordinate accounting records related to purchases, sales, inventory and production.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong hands-on experience with Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Good understanding of end-to-end accounting processes.
• Experience in handling sales and purchase invoices, purchase orders, production entries and inventory accounting.
• Good knowledge of stock management and reconciliation in Tally.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and basic statutory accounting will be preferred.
• Candidates who have worked in a manufacturing setup with raw material and finished goods inventory will be given preference.
• Should be based in or willing to commute to Sanand GIDC, Ahmedabad.
