Job summary

Fluid AI offers a Senior Accountant / Assistant Accounts Manager role in Mumbai (Lower Parel) to independently handle accounting, taxation, compliance and financial reporting for a diversified business group spanning Real Estate, Industrial Infrastructure and AI.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, GST, TDS and finalisation experience, with real estate/project accounting exposure. AI tools and automation experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Taxation and Financial Reporting.
• Experience with real estate/project accounting preferred.
• Experience with Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Zoho Books or SAP Business One is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, ledgers, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Handle monthly MIS, financial statements and cash-flow reports.
• Coordinate with CAs, auditors and consultants for finalisation of accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable and outstanding payments.
• Handle GST, TDS and income-tax-related documentation.
• Maintain project-wise accounts and records for Real Estate & Projects.
• Review lease agreements, vendor contracts and service agreements.
• Support commercial negotiations with vendors and tenants.
• Handle bank reconciliation and payment schedules.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Accountant / Assistant Accounts Manager to independently manage accounting, taxation, compliance, financial reporting and commercial coordination for a diversified business group operating across Real Estate, Industrial Infrastructure and Artificial Intelligence.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, good knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation and finalisation of accounts, and preferably experience in real estate/project accounting. Exposure to commercial contracts, legal coordination and negotiations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting, ledgers, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Handle monthly MIS, financial statements and cash-flow reports.
• Coordinate with CAs, auditors and consultants for finalisation of accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable and outstanding payments.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Handle GST, TDS and income-tax-related documentation.
• Ensure timely statutory compliance and maintain relevant records.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and Chartered Accountants.

Real Estate & Project Accounting

• Manage rental income, tenant invoicing, security deposits and property-related expenses.
• Maintain project-wise accounts and records.
• Handle contractor bills, work orders, payment schedules and receivables.

Commercial & Legal Coordination

• Assist in reviewing lease agreements, vendor contracts, purchase orders and service agreements.
• Coordinate with legal consultants on contractual obligations, notices and documentation.
• Support commercial negotiations with vendors, contractors and tenants.
• Monitor payment milestones, contractual terms, penalties and outstanding dues.

Banking & Payments

• Handle bank reconciliation and payment schedules.
• Monitor vendor payments, collections, reimbursements and petty cash.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documents.

Technology & AI

• Use Tally Prime, MS Excel, Zoho Books, SAP Business One or similar accounting systems.
• Leverage ChatGPT and AI tools for accounting, reporting, documentation and process automation.
• Support implementation of AI-enabled accounting and operational processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 - 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Inter CA preferred; B.Com / M.Com candidates with strong experience can also apply.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Taxation and Financial Reporting.
• Experience with Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of real estate/project accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to independently manage accounting operations and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.

Good to Have

• LL.B. / Law degree.
• Experience in contract review, legal documentation and commercial negotiations.
• Knowledge of Zoho Books / SAP Business One.
• Familiarity with AI tools and accounting automation.
