Job summary

Cynosure Corporate Solutions in Chennai seeks an experienced Senior Accountant with 10+ years to independently manage and oversee all accounting and financial activities.

The candidate should be proficient in Tally Prime, GST, TDS, and income tax, with strong reporting, reconciliations, and audit coordination skills. Real estate/Construction experience is highly preferred; FP&A support and month‑end closing are expected.

Qualifications

• CA Inter or equivalent
• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Hands-on experience in Tally Prime
• Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
• Experience in preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and MIS
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Bank and ledger reconciliation expertise

Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts in Tally Prime.
• Review and verify accounting entries, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Prepare and review trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, and other financial statements.
• Handle GST compliance, GST reconciliation, and return filing.
• Manage TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing.
• Coordinate with tax consultants on income tax matters.
• Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and finalization of accounts.
• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with auditors and statutory, internal, and tax auditors.
• Monitor receivables, payables, expenses, and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and accounting requirements.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
• Coordinate with management, vendors, customers, banks, and auditors.
