Job summary

Think High Softwares in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Accountant with 6+ years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, payroll-related obligations, and hands-on work with Tally.

You will handle accounting entries, GST returns, TDS filings, statutory dues, vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and assist in monthly and annual closings while coordinating with auditors and government authorities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience required, with hands-on GST, TDS and statutory compliance knowledge.
• Proficient in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Experience with payroll-related statutory compliance and audits is a plus.
• B.Com or M.Com or equivalent qualification expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, SAP B1.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
• Calculate, deduct, and file TDS returns.
• Handle statutory compliances including PF, PT, ESIC.
• Ensure timely payment and filing of all statutory dues and returns.
• Process vendor payments, customer receipts, invoices, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/customer account reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities during audits and assessments.
• Prepare MIS reports and support management with financial analysis.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 6+ years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, payroll-related compliances, and hands-on experience with Tally.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, SAP B1.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
• Calculate, deduct, and file TDS returns.
• Handle statutory compliances including Employee Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), and Employees' State Insurance (ESIC).
• Ensure timely payment and filing of all statutory dues and returns.
• Process vendor payments, customer receipts, invoices, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/customer account reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities during audits and assessments.

Required Skills
