Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, ledger maintenance.
• Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Calculate and ensure timely filing/deduction of GST, TDS, and PF/ESIC.
• Manage accounts payable (vendor payments) and accounts receivable (invoicing and follow-ups).
• Assist senior management/CA in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
• Monitor petty cash transactions and employee expense reimbursements.
• Prepare documentation and assist auditors during annual audits.

Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tally Prime/ERP, GST, TDS filing, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, book-keeping, and ledger maintenance.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and resolve discrepancies.
• Statutory Compliance: Calculate and ensure timely filing/deduction of GST, TDS, and PF/ESIC.
• Invoicing & Payments: Manage accounts payable (vendor payments) and accounts receivable (invoicing and client/customer follow-ups).
• Finalization of Accounts: Assist the senior management/CA in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
• Petty Cash & Expense Management: Monitor petty cash transactions, employee expense reimbursements, and operational expenses.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and assist internal and external auditors during annual audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in core accounting roles.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and MS Office.
