Job summary

Katalysst Cpg in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions. You will handle general ledger accounting, prepare financial statements, and ensure timely compliance with GST and TDS.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 4–7 years of accounting experience, and strong skills in Tally or ERP systems.

Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Handle General Ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, MIS reports, and accounting schedules.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Work on high-volume transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives within finance operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; CA Inter or full CA preferred.
• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in auditing firms or high-transaction accounting environments.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with Tally, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and MIS reporting.
• Familiarity with automation tools and accounting process optimization will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
