Job summary

The British School, New Delhi seeks a Security & Surveillance Officer to join the Security Team. The role focuses on continuous CCTV monitoring, recording activities, and coordinating maintenance with vendors to keep all security equipment functioning.

You will assist in handling visitors, managing the TPV system for third parties, and maintaining records. The incumbent will promptly report incidents to the Crises Management Team and support the Security Manager in ensuring a safe campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and CCTV monitoring.
• Ability to operate a control room and document incidents clearly.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and service of security equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and control room operations continuously.
• Record and report security events and vehicle movements.

Job description

The Security & Surveillance officer shall be member of the Security Team and will be responsible for the functioning of control room. He will ensure continuous monitoring, recording of CCTV. He is also responsible for PPM of CCTV in coordination with vendor and tracking of transport fleet, coordination with third party for desired working condition of the all security related equipment i.e. CCTV, X-Ray Baggage Scanner, HHMD, DFMD, mechanical gate & bollard, turnstile, walkie talkie.

The officer will help concerned security/ manual staff in handling Visitor and Management System as well as TPV for third party. He will maintain all related records and reports. He will also be responsible to communicate any unwanted movement to Crises Management Team on urgent basis. He will assist Security Manager to make the premises safe and secure.
