Responsibilities include coordinating security personnel, managing gate operations, supervising shifts, and training guards while maintaining records and responding to emergencies with Quick Response Team support.

• Oversees overall plant, mines, and township security.
• Ensures access control for personnel, materials, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
• Prevents unauthorized entry, breaches, and untoward incidents through strict monitoring and control.
• Manages deployment of security manpower and verifies security agency bills.
• Controls material movement and gate operations, ensuring only authorized entry and exit.
• Oversees traffic management, ensuring smooth movement of vehicles and coordination with other departments.
• Handles emergency response, fire safety vehicle safety, and supports CSR activities within budget.
• Monitors security operations during shifts, including briefing guards, conducting patrols, and inspecting security posts.
• Maintains CCTV surveillance, records, registers, and security equipment, ensuring proper usage and documentation.
• Conducts training, intelligence collection, reporting incidents, and acts as Quick Response Team (QRT) during emergencies.
