Job summary

MitKat is hiring a Security Shift Manager to lead guard operations and respond to security incidents. The role focuses on deployment, discipline, and post management across multiple campus locations including Hyderabad and Chennai.

The position will require coordinating with AMC vendors and IT security interfaces. The candidate should have 2+ years in security operations, fluent English and regional language skills, and proficiency in MS Office to generate daily incident reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in core security operations in a large company.
• Fluent in English and regional language(s).
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint; able to generate incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage guard force deployment and discipline; oversee turnout and post assignments.
• Respond to incidents; coordinate small guard patrols and risk management actions.
• Prevent unauthorized entry at gates; monitor for security breaches and incidents.
• Handle fire incidents and medical emergencies with prompt action.
• Support employees during medical emergencies via OHC access.
• Monitor and respond to theft attempts and traffic violations by vendors.

Job Summary

MitKat is looking to hire Security Shift Manager for its Global IT MNC Client. This position will be an embedded position and the job locations will be Hyderabad/Chennai. Our ambition: Enable C-suites to act faster, smarter, and with absolute confidence driving rapid digital transformation in risk management.

Responsibilities

• Guard Force Management: Ensure guard deployment as per design, Giving Instructions, Discipline and Turnout, Duty Post and Employee interaction related Training.
• Incident Response: Physically Fit and Mentally alert to respond with a small Guard Patrolling team to Security Incidents like: Our ambition: Enable C-suites to act faster, smarter, and with absolute confidence driving rapid digital transformation in risk management.
• Attempt for Unauthorized entry at Gate.
• Fire Incidents
• Support employees to reach OHCs on medical Emergency.
• Theft attempt
• Traffic violations by vendor vehicles inside campus etc.
• Technological Interface: Good knowledge of Access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Intrusion detection Systems.
• Should be able to support the department in trouble shooting and fixing the devices downtime by working closely with Operators and AMC vendors.
• Business Support: Facilitate Customer and other Guest Visits.
• Participate in Security Control Audits.

Qualifications / Basic requirements

• Minimum 2 Years Experience of Core Security Operations/Loss Prevention in Large Company, preferably in Service Sector.
• Fluent in English and regional Language.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Basic Excel, and Power Point, able to generate daily security related incident reports.
• Good supervisory skills and ability to command man power.
• Any Graduation, NCC exposure will be a Plus.
