Job summary

MitKat is seeking a Security Shift Manager to join as an embedded position at our client site in India, with bases in Hyderabad and Chennai. You will lead security operations, manage guard deployment, and coordinate with vendors to ensure uninterrupted protection across facilities.

The role requires hands-on supervision, experience with access control, CCTV, alarms, and incident reporting, along with strong communication in English and local language. This is a full-time India-based posting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in core security operations/loss prevention in a large company.
• Fluent in English and regional language.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to generate daily incident reports.
• Good supervisory and manpower command skills.
• NCC exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guard deployment per design, enforce discipline and turnout.
• Respond to security incidents with a small patrolling team.
• Manage access control, CCTV, alarms, and troubleshoot device downtime with operators and vendors.
• Coordinate guest visits and participate in security audits.

About the Role

MitKat is looking to hire Security Shift Manager for its Global IT MNC Client. This position will be an embedded position and the job locations will be Hyderabad/Chennai. Responsibilities:

1. Guard Force Management:

• Ensure guard deployment as per design, Giving Instructions, Discipline and Turnout, Duty Post and Employee interaction related Training.

Physically Fit and Mentally alert to respond with a small Guard Patrolling team to Security Incidents like:

• Attempt for Unauthorized entry at Gate.
• Support employees to reach OHCs on medical Emergency.
• Theft attempt
• Traffic violations by vendor vehicles inside campus etc.

3. Technological Interface

• Good knowledge of Access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Intrusion detection Systems.
• Should be able to support the department in trouble shooting and fixing the devices downtime by working closely with Operators and AMC vendors.

4. Business Support

• Facilitate Customer and other Guest Visits.
• Participate in Security Control Audits.

Basic requirements, and qualifications:

• Minimum 2 Years Experience of Core Security Operations/Loss Prevention in Large Company, preferably in Service Sector.
• Fluent in English and regional Language.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Basic Excel, and Power Point, able to generate daily security related incident reports.
• Good supervisory skills and ability to command man power.
• Any Graduation, NCC exposure will be a Plus.
