Job summary

MitKat Advisory is seeking a Security Shift Manager to safeguard critical facilities across Hyderabad and Chennai. This embedded role focuses on guard force deployment, incident response, and compliance with security protocols.

You will coordinate with operations teams and drive safety standards on site. Requirements include 2+ years in security operations, fluency in English and local languages, and proficiency with MS Office to generate incident reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in core security operations/loss prevention in a large company.
• Fluent in English and regional language.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint; able to generate daily security reports.
• Good supervisory skills and ability to command manpower.
• Any Graduation; NCC exposure will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guard force management and deployment as per design; supervise discipline and turnout.
• Incident response and coordination for security events.
• Respond to unauthorized entry attempts, fire incidents, medical emergencies, theft attempts and other incidents.
• Support employees to reach OHCs during medical emergencies.
• Ensure access control, CCTV, fire alarm and intrusion detection systems are functioning.
• Troubleshoot devices with operators and AMC vendors.
• Facilitate customer and guest visits and participate in security audits.

About The Role

Responsibilities

• Guard Force Management:
• Ensure guard deployment as per design, Giving Instructions, Discipline and Turnout, Duty Post and Employee interaction related Training.
• Incident Response

Physically Fit and Mentally alert to respond with a small Guard Patrolling team to Security Incidents like:

• Attempt for Unauthorized entry at Gate.
• Fire Incidents
• Support employees to reach OHCs on medical Emergency.
• Theft attempt
• Traffic violations by vendor vehicles inside campus etc.
• Technological Interface
• Good knowledge of Access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, and Intrusion detection Systems.
• Should be able to support the department in trouble shooting and fixing the devices downtime by working closely with Operators and AMC vendors.
• Business Support
• Facilitate Customer and other Guest Visits.
• Participate in Security Control Audits.

Basic Requirements, And Qualifications
