Job summary

DS Group in India is seeking a Security Officer to oversee plant security, access control, and surveillance across the Reengus facility.

The role involves supervising security guards, coordinating with authorities, handling incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.

Candidates should have experience in security operations and be able to work across HR, Stores, Production and Administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant security management and access control.
• Ability to supervise security staff across shifts.
• Knowledge of CCTV and security surveillance operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall plant security, access control and surveillance.
• Supervise and deploy security guards across plant premises and shifts.
• Monitor CCTV, gate operations, visitor/vehicle entry and material movement.
• Prevent theft, pilferage, unauthorized access and security violations.
• Coordinate with local police, fire department and other authorities when required.
• Handle security incidents, emergencies, investigations and prepare incident reports.
• Conduct regular security checks, mock drills and risk assessments.
• Manage outsourced security agencies and ensure proper manpower deployment and discipline.
• Coordinate with Plant Head, HR, Stores, Production and Administration for security-related matters.
