About The Role

Project Role: Security Managed Services Practitioner

Project Role Description: Apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats.

Educational Qualification: 15 years full time education

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide day to day operational support for the Infrastructure Security Management Service.
• Quickly respond, troubleshoot and implement resolutions for client issues, should be able to meet the defined SLAs for service delivery signed by the clients.
• Major Incident/change handling, incident response and escalation management in a 24x7 environment.
• Offer proactive advice on implemented services.
• Ensure that all agreed communication, notification and escalation processes (internal/external) are delivered e.g. customer updates.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security architecture aligns with business requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
• Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals.

Professional & Technical Skills

• At least 5+ years of experience in supporting Infrastructure security management solutions.

Must To Have Skills

• Proficiency in Zscaler, Checkpoint and Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.
• Experience of working in cloud-based network.
• Implements security solutions (infrastructure and/or application) including the configuration, deployment of security-related technologies.
• Knowledge of general networking technologies (LAN, WAN, WLAN, DNS/DHCP, Proxy).
• Good understanding of Routing/switching fundamentals, in-depth knowledge of network technologies utilized within an Internet/Intranet environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Vendor management to support Infrastructure security infrastructure.
• Handle troubleshooting and diagnosis to find root cause of incident.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and provide after-work hours and weekend on-call support as and when required.
