Role Description

The Search Engine Optimization Analyst is a full-time role based in Pune. In this role, the analyst will conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, and perform technical SEO reviews to improve search rankings and organic traffic. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting web analytics, preparing performance reports, and recommending data-driven SEO/ AEO/ GEO strategies. The analyst will also manage link-building initiatives, collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO with broader campaigns, and stay current with search engine guidelines and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO, including meta tags, headings, content optimization, and internal linking.
• Experience with link-building strategies, outreach, and maintaining high-quality backlink profiles.
• Ability to use Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track performance, identify insights, and inform SEO decisions.
• Solid understanding of Marketing principles and how SEO integrates with digital marketing, content, and branding strategies.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and basic technical SEO (site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing, sitemaps).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an SEO or digital marketing role; agency experience is an advantage.
