Job summary

LiveRamp is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to join its Quality Engineering team in a pivotal role. Design and implement the release QA flow, collaborate with PM and dev leads to ensure fast, reliable product releases, and drive end-to-end automation across the product.

Lead testing activities and mentor a small team of SDETs to maintain high quality as LiveRamp expands its data collaboration platform.

Qualifications

• 2 years as an enterprise-level Software Developer in a Test role.
• 2 years in Test Strategy, Test Plan, Design, and Execution for enterprise-level Functional, Integration, and PSR testing.
• 2 years Hands-on experience with robustness testing tools like JMeter.
• 2 years Hands-on developer skills in Python or Java.
• 1 year Hands-on experience setting up cloud test environments (GCP, AWS, etc.).
• 2 years experience in agile as an integrated Quality Engineer in Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the product’s release quality assurance flow.
• Partner with PM to prepare user case & journey of umbrella product.
• Collaborate with TPM and dev lead to manage release status via release management tool.
• Think from user perspective to improve the user experience.
• Design and develop product-level performance testing.
• Create product-level end-to-end automation to accelerate releases.
• Prepare and share product knowledge with SRE and Tech Support.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported product issues.
• Provide technical leadership to small groups of 2-3 Software Quality Engineers.

LiveRamp is looking for an experienced Software development engineer in test for the Quality engineering team. The candidate's primary focus will be to integrate closely with the development team and automate the user journey scenarios to enable the process to be as efficient as possible. • Partner with PM to prepare the user case & journey of the umbrella product.
• Partner with TPM and dev lead to manage the overall release status through the release management tool.
• Thinking from the user perspective as a product expert to improve the user experience.
• Design and develop product-level performance testing.
• Design and develop product-level end-to-end automation to accelerate the product release cycle.
• Prepare and share product knowledge with the SRE and Technical support team.
• Troubleshoot Customer reported Product Issues
• Technical leading small groups of 2-3 Software Quality Engineers.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science + 2 years in:

• 2 years of previous experience as an enterprise-level Software Developer in a Test role
• 2 years of Hands‑on experience in Test Strategy, Test Plan, Design, and Execution for enterprise-level Functional, Integration, and PSR testing
• 2 years of Hands‑on experience on Robustness testing tools like Jmeter
• 2 years of Hands‑on developer skills in any of the programming languages: Python, Java
• 1 year of Hands‑on experience in setting up cloud test environments using Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, etc.
• 2 years of Hands‑on Work experience in agile and as an integrated Quality Engineer in the scrum Team

Plus requirements

• 1+ years of software engineer background on the front end or back end will be great.
• 1+ years of previous experience as a tech lead to organize testing around microservices and UI.
