Job summary

LiveRamp India Private Limited is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test for its Quality Engineering team. The candidate will integrate with the development group and automate user journey scenarios to keep releases fast and reliable.

Design end-to-end automation, performance tests, and collaborate with PM/TPM/dev leads to manage release status. Strong Python/Java skills and cloud testing experience are required for this enterprise role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 years of enterprise-level software developer experience in a test role.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in test strategy, test planning, design and execution for enterprise-level testing.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with robustness testing tools like JMeter.
• 2 years of hands-on developer skills in Python or Java.
• 1 year of setting up cloud test environments (GCP, AWS).
• 2 years of agile experience as a Quality Engineer in a Scrum team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the product’s release quality assurance flow.
• Partner with PM to prepare user cases and journey maps.
• Collaborate with TPM and dev lead to manage release status via release tools.
• Think from the user perspective to improve UX.
• Design and develop product-level performance testing.
• Create end-to-end automation to accelerate releases.
• Share product knowledge with SRE and Technical Support.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues.
• Provide technical leadership to 2–3 QE teammates.

LiveRamp is looking for an experienced Software development engineer in test for the Quality engineering team. The candidate's primary focus will be to integrate closely with the development team and automate the user journey scenarios to enable the process to be as efficient as possible. Responsibilities

• Design and develop the product’s release quality assurance flow to fit the organization’s situation.
• Partner with PM to prepare the user case & journey of the umbrella product.
• Partner with TPM and dev lead to manage the overall release status through the release management tool.
• Thinking from the user perspective as a product expert to improve the user experience.
• Design and develop product-level performance testing.
• Design and develop product-level end-to-end automation to accelerate the product release cycle.
• Prepare and share product knowledge with the SRE and Technical support team.
• Troubleshoot Customer reported Product Issues
• Technical leading small groups of 2-3 Software Quality Engineers.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science + 2 years in:

• 2 years of previous experience as an enterprise-level Software Developer in a Test role
• 2 years of Hands‑on experience in Test Strategy, Test Plan, Design, and Execution for enterprise-level Functional, Integration, and PSR testing
• 2 years of Hands‑on experience on Robustness testing tools like Jmeter
• 2 years of Hands‑on developer skills in any of the programming languages: Python, Java
• 1 year of Hands‑on experience in setting up cloud test environments using Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, etc.
• 2 years of Hands‑on Work experience in agile and as an integrated Quality Engineer in the scrum Team

Plus requirements

• 1+ years of software engineer background on the front end or back end will be great.
• 1+ years of previous experience as a tech lead to organize testing around microservices and UI.
