M2P Fintech in Chennai seeks a DevOps Platform Engineer to design and implement scalable infrastructure, deliver cloud-native services, and drive DevOps automation. You will partner with cross-functional teams to promote agile practices and a customer-focused mindset, enabling rapid, reliable deployments.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, infrastructure as code, and strong collaboration across product, security, and operations.

Qualifications

• B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience designing enterprise hosting platforms and administering servers/databases.
• Deep understanding of cloud, virtualization, container (Kubernetes) platforms and IaC.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Agile, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Experience with IaaS/PaaS clouds and automation tooling.
• Scripting skills and familiarity with Linux/Windows servers.

About the Role

M2P Fintech is looking for DevOps Platform Engineers who will take a multifaceted approach to helping teams achieve technical excellence by assessing challenges from both a technical and operational perspective. You will take the responsibility for designing and implementing infrastructure that delivers and runs software services and help internal teams to adopt a DevOps mindset, breaking away from rigid, more traditional ways of working and pivoting to a more customer-focused and agile approach. As part of a cross functional team, you will be working in a fast-paced and agile work environment delivering quality and innovative solutions that have immediate business impact. You need to take the challenges and ownership that comes while developing a complex system. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

What Will You Do in this Role

• Launch projects through hands-on implementation, evaluate and drive improvements to existing infrastructure.
• Help shape and build M2P cloud and infrastructure practice through collaboration with business development, marketing and capabilities development teams.
• Ensure and build the controls and processes for continuous delivery of applications, considering all stages of the process and its automations.
• Monitor and ensure that technical expectations of deliverables are consistently met on projects.
• Act as a leader on DevOps, cloud and infrastructure engineering.
• Adjust and suggest innovative solutions to current constraints and business policies.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

• B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or any equivalent degree.
• Experience to design and architect enterprise and/or web-scale hosting platforms and can seamlessly administer application servers, web servers and databases.
• Deep understanding of cloud, virtualization and container (Kubernetes) platforms, infrastructure automation(Terraform) and application hosting technologies.
• Understand DevOps philosophy, Agile methods, Infrastructure as Code to your work and lead infrastructure and operations with these approaches.
• Working history with server virtualisation, IaaS and PaaS cloud, Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management tools.
• Should be able to write scripts using at least one scripting language and are comfortable with building Linux and/or Windows servers systems.
• Experience with continuous integration tools with different tech stacks, web or mobile.
• Should have previously worked with monitoring systems for stress and performance testing with Observability Pattern: Distributed Tracing/ OpenTracing, Log Aggregation, Audit Logging, Exception Tracking, Health Check API, Application MetricS, Self-Healing/Multi-Cloud.
• Bonus points if you have experience with unit testing and automated testing tools.
• Multi-tasking, prioritizing/ effective time management and eye for detail would be key skills required for this role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Previous experience in Banking or Fintech or related field is a plus.
