M2P Fintech is seeking a Principal Solution Engineer to build scalable, high‑performance distributed systems. You will work in a fast‑paced agile team and own challenges from conception through deployment and operations.

The role requires 12+ years of Java experience and proven leadership of engineering teams. You will define technical strategy, design patterns, and ensure timely delivery of innovative fintech features.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 12+ years of software development experience in Java with 5+ years leading teams.
• Experience building complex, scalable, high-performance, low-latency systems.
• Strong OO design skills and design patterns for modular interfaces.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on coder with debugging skills.

About the Role

M2P Fintech is looking for Principal Solution Engineer to build scalable software systems that are high-performance, highly available, highly transactional, low latency and massively distributed. As part of a cross functional team, you will be working in a fast-paced and agile work environment delivering quality and innovative solutions that have immediate business impact. You need to take the challenges and ownership that comes while developing a complex system. You should be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

What Will You Do in this Role

• Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution – from conception to delivery to operations.
• Work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities that helps them succeed in their business goals.
• Work closely with engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
• Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
• Partner and integrate with the best in market to bring is best in class embedded fintech features.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
• Solve complex problems in an innovative way and deliver quality solutions while taking ownership and accountability of assigned things.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

• B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or any equivalent degree.
• Experienced technology leader with 12+ years of software development experience in Java including, 5+ years in building and leading strong engineering teams.
• Substantial experience in building complex and scalable solutions.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, ability to apply design patterns, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces.
• Strong service architecture and development experience with high performance and scalability
• Strong at technical goal setting for a project with actionable success metrics. Good knowledge and experience on measuring a service from user experience angle.
• Strong on driving for results and self-motivated, strong learning mindset, with good understanding of related advanced/new technology. Keep up with the technology development in the related areas in the industry, which could be leveraged to enhance current architectures and build durable new ones.
• Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills, including ability to effectively communicate architectural issues and concepts to multiple organization levels and executive management.
• Good problem-solving skills with strong analytical thinking.
• Hands-on coder with excellent debugging skills.
