Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Scrum Master to lead two agile teams, enabling predictable, high‑quality software delivery aligned with Sprint and Product Goals.

You will facilitate Scrum events, manage backlogs with Product Owners, remove blockers, and foster continuous improvement and cross‑team collaboration. Required: 8–10 years in software/product development, 2–3+ years as Scrum Master, and relevant Scrum certifications.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of industry experience in software/product development.
• 2–3+ years hands-on as a Scrum Master with teams applying Agile/Scrum.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile principles, Lean and continuous improvement.
• CSM, PSM or equivalent certification preferred; SAFe exposure an advantage.
• Experience in medical/healthcare domain is a plus.

Experience & Skill Set

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of industry experience in software/product development environments.
• 2–3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Scrum Master, working with teams actively applying Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong practical knowledge of Scrum, Agile principles, empirical product development, Lean practices and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to coach teams beyond basic Scrum adoption towards self‑management, ownership, accountability, predictability and continuous improvement.
• Experience working in complex technical/product development environments involving multiple stakeholders, teams and cross‑team dependencies.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, version control, DevOps, cloud/containerization and release management.
• Ability to understand technical discussions, architectural constraints, dependencies, quality issues and delivery risks, and facilitate effective decision‑making and resolution.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive outcomes.
• Strong ownership, accountability and proactive problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to identify and address systemic issues.
• Good knowledge of estimation, risk management, data interpretation, root‑cause analysis and Agile metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working across functions, teams and organizational levels.
• CSM, PSM or equivalent Scrum certification is preferred.
• Exposure to SAFe or other Agile scaling frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience in the medical/healthcare domain and familiarity with relevant product development processes is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated people leadership and development capabilities, with the ability and willingness to mentor, develop and motivate team members and progressively take on broader team leadership responsibilities.
