Job summary

UST in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Technical Scrum Master / BI Developer to drive Agile project delivery while supporting BI reporting initiatives. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and develop dashboards to support business decisions.

The role requires hands-on BI tool experience (Power BI/Tableau/SSRS), strong SQL skills, and familiarity with data warehouses/ETL processes. Excellent stakeholder management and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on BI tooling experience (Power BI/Tableau/SSRS) and data visualization.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills with ETL and data warehouse exposure.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Remove impediments and ensure smooth project execution per Scrum principles.
• Track sprint progress, risks, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, and Dev teams to prioritize and deliver requirements.
• Translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports (Power BI/Tableau/SSRS).
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Support data validation and data quality checks; optimize BI performance.
• Coordinate data integration and reporting with technical teams.
• Prepare project documentation and Agile metrics.

Role Description

Technical Scrum Master / BI Developer We are looking for a Technical Scrum Master with BI Developer who can drive Agile project delivery while also supporting business intelligence and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum processes, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and develop insightful dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and ensure smooth project execution following Scrum principles.
• Track sprint progress, manage project risks, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams to prioritize and deliver business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or similar platforms.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Support data validation, data quality checks, and performance optimization of BI solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data integration and reporting requirements are met.
• Prepare project documentation, metrics, and Agile reports.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or other BI tools.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience working with data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of data modeling and business intelligence best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
