Job summary

AMBCInc is seeking a Scrum Master to act as the liaison between the business and the software development team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on maximizing team productivity, coaching Scrum Masters, and removing impediments while guiding agile adoption across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of Scrum Master experience for software teams and strong skills in servant leadership, facilitation, and transparency to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Must ensure Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to and applied.
• Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
• Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
• Ensure teams practice core agile principles: collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and visibility.
• Improve team productivity in various ways.

Job description

The Scrum Master serves as the liaison between the business and the software development team. This role helps scrum teams reach peak productivity, coaches and mentors scrum masters, resolves impediments that blocks teams, and helps track their progress. The Scrum Master Manager also plays a critical role in the adoption of Scrum and other agile development practices by the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
• Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.
• . Should have experience in Agile methodology
• Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principle of collaborations, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
• Improve the productivity of the teams in any way possible.

Required Education, Skills or Experience

• At least 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
• Must be able to ensure that Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to and applied.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Knowledge of numerous well documented development patterns and techniques.
• Experience with and knowledge of the software and/or hardware development life cycle

Preferred Education, Skills or Experience

• BS degree in Engineering or technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team
