Responsibilities
- Facilitate events, ensure all events take place, are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
- Support iteration execution by maintaining ceremony artefacts, refining the backlog, and iterating on stakeholder feedback to ensure continuous customer value.
- Identify and remove blockers to improve team flow, use metrics to enable clear communication, and make work visible.
- Identify and escalate risks to remove impediments and shield the squad from interruptions.
- Foster and coach Agile team attributes, encourage stakeholder collaboration, provide in-the-moment leadership, and drive high-performing team dynamics.
- Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders (business stakeholders, product teams, vendors) and build trust.
- Governance and reporting: ensure data quality and represent at required governance forums, where applicable.
- Assist in risk management and controls related to the work; support the control and governance agenda.
Qualifications
- Experience with Agile methodology: knowledge of Agile frameworks, iterative development, and an Agile mindset to promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and flexibility to achieve high-performing results.
- Tools and technology proficiency: experience with Agile project management tools (Confluence & JIRA); ability to configure and leverage these tools to support program execution.
- Communication and collaboration: exceptional communication skills; ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Continuous improvement: experience facilitating retrospectives, driving process improvements, waste reduction, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and Agile maturity.
- Facilitation and coaching: strong facilitation skills to run effective Agile ceremonies and coach teams to improve processes and performance.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution: strong analytical thinking, mediation skills, proactive problem identification, blocker removal, and collaborative solutions.
- Stakeholder management: experience managing expectations, prioritizing work based on stakeholder feedback, and facilitating effective communication between the team and stakeholders.
- Adaptability and flexibility: ability to adapt to shifting priorities, changing requirements, and varying team dynamics while delivering value.
- Time management and prioritisation: strong organisational skills, backlog prioritisation, and helping teams stay focused on high-priority work.
- Metrics and reporting: proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with experience using velocity, cycle time, and predictability metrics.

Purpose of the role
Facilitates and supports Agile teams by ensuring they follow Scrum principles. Facilitates Scrum events, promotes continuous improvement, and acts as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders.
