Purpose of the role Facilitates and supports Agile teams by ensuring they follow Scrum principles. To remove obstacles, enhance team collaboration, and ensure smooth communication, enabling the team to focus on delivering high-quality, iterative results. Facilitate Scrum events, promote continuous improvement, and act as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders.

1. Facilitate Events: Facilitate events, as needed, and ensure that all events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox

To be successful as a Scrum Master

• Strong experience in application support.
• Good knowledge of SQL, databases, and data analysis for troubleshooting and root cause identification.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of Network technologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as Geneos, AppDynamics, Observe, or similar solutions.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications and working directly with business stakeholders.
• Understanding of messaging technologies such as IBM MQ and related integration tools.
• Experience with batch monitoring and scheduling tools like TWS and AutoSys.
• Knowledge of certificates and secure communication protocols such as SSL, SSH, SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS.
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience delivering process simplification, automation, and efficiency gains.

Desirable Skills

• Ability to Drive Agile Mindset & Team Culture
• Understanding of Payments, Core banking, Liquidity / Corporate Banking Domain Experience working on programs with blockchain or distributed ledger technology.
