Job summary

Aligned Automation in Pune (Onsite) is seeking a certified Scrum Master with strong hands-on Agile delivery experience to drive high-performing Scrum teams. You will coach teams, remove impediments, and ensure best practices are applied.

The role requires 5+ years of Scrum Master experience, CSM/PSM/SAFe SM certification, and collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM/SAFe SM or equivalent) is mandatory.
• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Agile frameworks and iterative delivery.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Proven facilitation, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Scrum Master for cross-functional Agile teams.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy backlog.
• Track Agile metrics and communicate progress.
• Maintain risk registers and mitigate issues with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain project plans through the lifecycle.
• Drive on-time, high-quality delivery aligned to business priorities.
• Act as a change agent promoting Agile mindset across stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, DevOps and business teams to optimize delivery flow.
• Ensure transparency and effective communication at all levels.

Role Summary

We are seeking a certified Scrum Master with strong hands‑on experience in Agile delivery to drive high‑performing Scrum teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, delivery‑focused, and skilled at coaching teams, removing impediments, and ensuring Agile best practices are consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more cross‑functional Agile teams
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles, ensuring continuous improvement and high team maturity
• Proactively identify and remove impediments that block team progress
• Partner with Product Owners to ensure a healthy, prioritized, and well‑groomed backlog
• Track and communicate Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, predictability)
• Maintain Risk Registers for the project and ensure mitigation through stakeholder collaboration
• Create and maintain the Project plans throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive on‑time, high‑quality delivery aligned with business priorities
• Act as a change agent, promoting Agile mindset across stakeholders
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, DevOps, and business teams to optimize delivery flow
• Ensure transparency, visibility, and effective communication across all levels

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM / SAFe SM or equivalent – mandatory)
• Strong practical experience with Scrum, Agile frameworks, and iterative delivery
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts proactively
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams (developer, QA, product)
• Strong facilitation, communication, and leadership skills
• Hands‑on experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Strong understanding of Agile metrics and reporting
• Proactive, self‑driven, and delivery‑oriented mindset

Good to Have

• Experience in Scaled Agile environments (SAFe / LeSS / Nexus)
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud‑based delivery models
• Experience working in onsite / client‑facing roles
• Coaching or mentoring experience for junior Scrum Masters
• Experience working in pharma / regulated environment
