Job summary

Qtsolv is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to act as a servant leader, driving team-level execution and Agile practices. The role focuses on facilitating core Scrum ceremonies, PI Planning, and close coordination with Release Management to ensure smooth deployments.

The candidate will mentor teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders, track key metrics, and promote continuous improvement across the delivery pipeline in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Scrum Master/Agile roles.
• Experience guiding Scrum framework practices in large delivery environments.
• Facilitation of Scrum ceremonies and Agile ceremonies.
• Experience leading PI Planning and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Planning, Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Guide cross-functional alignment during PI Planning and manage dependencies.
• Coordinate with Release Management to align sprint delivery with deployment targets.

Job description

The Scrum Master is a servant leader with minimum 10+ yrs experience and agile coach responsible for driving team-level execution, guiding scrum framework practices, and supporting end-to-end delivery. In this role, you will facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, lead cross-functional alignment during Program Increment (PI) Planning, and coordinate closely with Release Management to ensure smooth, predictable deployments. You will act as a bridge between development teams, Product Management, and enterprise stakeholders while mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement across the delivery pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Coaching & Team Facilitation

• Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Shield the team from external interruptions, manage scope creep, and actively remove impediments to team velocity.
• Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, engineering practices, and continuous delivery.
• Track and transparently communicate team performance metrics (cycle time, throughput, burndown, velocity).

PI Planning & Scaled Agile Execution

• Experience in Pre-PI Planning readiness activities, ensuring features are properly scoped, sized, and prioritized.
• Guide the team through PI Planning breakout sessions, capacity allocation, and draft plan reviews.
• Map and manage cross-team dependencies and drive risk resolution using the ROAM framework (Resolved, Owned, Accepted, Mitigated).
• Assist the team in formulating SMART PI Objectives and conducting the final team confidence vote.

Release Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner with Release Managers/ scrum masters, and Quality Assurance to align sprint delivery schedules with enterprise deployment target dates.
• Oversee Definition of Done (DoD) compliance, release readiness checklists, regression testing sign-offs, and compliance documentation.
• Communicate release status, rollout plans, and risk mitigation strategies to key business stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate deployment protocols and facilitate post-release retrospectives to improve release predictability.
