Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader, driving Agile practices and Scrum throughout the team. You will coach, mentor, and guide Scrum Teams and other Scrum Masters, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

You will champion Lean and Kanban, partner with Technology, Development, QA, and Product Management, and ensure clear backlogs and sprint goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years experience as Scrum Master/Project Manager with Agile practices.
• Experience with large-scale Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.

Responsibilities

• Coaching teams in Agile principles and facilitating Scrum ceremonies; removing impediments; fostering collaboration.
• Enables Product Owner to prioritize and maintain a clear backlog and align sprint goals.
• Leads Scrum COE activities and drives Scrum standards across the organization.
• Collaborates with Technology, Development, QA, and Product Management to align objectives.
• Maintains timely communication with internal departments and clients to address concerns and updates.
• Drives continuous improvement of Scrum processes to enhance efficiency and delivery.

Essential Job Functions

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Discipline or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience CSM/PSM
• 5-8 years of experience as Scrum Master/Project Manager, including Capacity Management, Demand Management, Design Sprint, Iterative Design, Lean Agile, Kanban, Metrics Development, Visual Management.
• Experience with large-scale Agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS

Preferred Experience

• Scrum Master Certification (CSM or PSM 1)
• Agile coaching

Essential Job Functions

• Coaching teams in Agile principles to achieve high performance through strong communication and servant leadership. Responsibilities include facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering collaboration. They promote self-organization, use Visual Management Systems, and drive continuous improvement to enhance team productivity and Agile maturity. - (20%)
• Ensures the Product Owner is enabled to prioritize and maintain a clear and concise Product Backlog. Ensures the team understands the business case, scope, milestones, sprint goals, and other necessary information to produce the desired business value. Facilitates work completion without coercion, assigning or dictating the work. - (20%)
• Supports organizational and Scrum Practice vision and standards to achieve goals. Leads the activities and initiatives of the Scrum COE. Seeks opportunities for improvement to improve the overall effectiveness of Scrum within the organization. Champions Agile and Scrum across the organization through various forums leveraging effective communication skills. - (15%)
• Work closely with leaders from various departments, including Technology, Development, QA, and Product Management, to foster alignment and drive progress toward achieving organizational objectives. - (15%)
• Maintain consistent communication at suitable intervals while following established business processes. Facilitate prompt team interactions with internal departments and clients to address concerns, updates, and modifications. Craft clear and timely email notifications and responses for cross-functional and internal teams. - (15%)
• Drive the continuous improvement of Scrum processes, both within teams and across the organization, with a focus on improving efficiency, quality, and delivery. - (15%)
